Roy Rube is one of the co-hosts on the television program hosted by Mortimer Gunhause for view on any television set capable of receiving its satellite signal from The City. Rube's role during the broadcast is something of a comic relief, but is hard to discern for certain whether or not Rube's antics are a form of satire and are intended to be taken humorously, or if Rube's mental state is unstable and this is how he genuinely acts on a day-to-day basis.
In-Game[]
On the Autumn House television set, the player has the opportunity to restore power to the House and view the television set inside, which is broadcasting Mortimer Gunhause's program. Rube's scenes appear intermittently, and solely consist of him -- for lack of a better word -- goofing off. An air of unprofessionalism surrounds Rube, as he is asleep on live-air when introduced to the player. Rube proceeds to ramble about zucchinis for the remainder of his scene, but the progression of his rant is impeded due to him forgetting what zucchinis were called.
